Delta ultra-modern market: DYPA Warri North commends Okowa, Asekutu, supports Oborevwori, Ejele, others

The Delta Youth Political Alliance, DYPA Warri North Local Government Area chapter has commended Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, governor of Delta state and vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the Warri North Local Government Council chairman, Mr. Smart Yomi Asekutu, for building a jetty ultramodern market at Ogheye in Warri North Local Government Area in the state.

The group in a statement shortly after the commissioning of the project threw its weight behind the Delta state PDP governorship candidate for the 2023 general elections, noting that Oborevwori is the only option for Delta come 2023, adding that Warri North is purely SHERIFFIED.

General Silas Toruwei, the group’s coordinator of the Ward the North chapter also pledged support for Hon. Michael Diden aka Ejele for senate, Delta South senatorial district, chief Hon. Ereyitomi Thomas for Warri Federal House of Representatives, and Hon. Fred Martin for Delta state House of Assembly.

The statement noted that the support of the Delta Youths for Rt. Hon. Sheriff for Governor is clearly for justice and fairness, stressing that Deltans should use the PVC to retain the good works of Gov Okowa, insisting that all PVC carriers should massively vote for Oborevwori.

The group emphasized that even on moral grounds Oborevwori remained the best among other governorship candidates in the state.

The group said Oborevwori is the most qualified person to continue Okowa’s developmental agenda, adding that there is no opposition in Warri North.

They further said: “We cannot exchange enjoyment for poverty, Delta state is not a banana republic.”
