Death actually imprisoned the most greatest historians and great Orators in history, death mute their mouth into silent sound of no melody. Yes others must tell their stories to the world of story telling in preserving the dying heritage of our people. Moonlight storytelling culture has gone into extinction but someone has preserved his mother’s Oracy in storytelling in written literature to preserve the tradition of our old heritage as Izon people in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Yes, Timiebi lives in an undying world in her son fictions, Ekanpou Enewaridideke. So Timiebi is alive!.

Years upon years ago in Akparemogbene community, little did I know that I will marry from the family of Storytellers in Izon Quarters of Akparemogbene community, my flood wife.

The Famous folklorist that often featured in the story of Ekanpou Enewaridideke, one of the greatest writers in Ijaw land, his mother was born a storyteller cum a Fisher woman in the Oral literature of the Niger Delta region, yes he (Ekanpou) inherited this trait of story telling that has made him one of the best literary scholars in the contemporary Niger Delta literature as the Mother Timebi Maika Ekanpou Sails in the Dark in a Canoe to an Unknown world, yes Timebi has Canoed to Daumabou as the Book of Timiebi closed in silence as her legacy continues in different folders of story telling. The fisher woman which productive trade has created history.

Yes, blood is blood, Enaibo from Bobougbene community, Ayakoromo became a student of Ekanpou’s literary Academy like Plato and Aristotle to Socrates, as a serving boy who admire the literary creativity of Ekanpou and to tape the prowess of creativity in friends turned out to be an in-Law in the family and begot a wife from that family, his Niece Emily Ekanpou, now Mrs. Emily Asiayei Enaibo- Ekanpou, yes Mrs.Timiebi Ekanpou, the Philosophical storytelling Mother of Ekanpou Enewaridideke, and Enaibo the Talking Drum got married to the grand Daughter, and gave birth to currently 3 great grand children, yes my First son, Asiayei Peremobowei 6 years old boy who often wakes me up with stories older than my ears, and at often time I ask him, (son )who told you all these stories, he will tell me ‘is God”, that he dreamt, in most cases stops me to tell him stories even though I am very tired from the GbaramatuVoice Work load, but he at often time, invades my library to bring me university story books to be told stories, yes I have told him the story’s from Ekanpou Enewaridideke, the “Imprisonment of Ebi in the Coven.”

Yes, fathers give birth to their replicas by blood, once, you are a Lawyer, possibly, one of the children will follow suite, if the Father is a criminal, yes, the DNA will reflect, for I am a storyteller, my Son Asiayei Peremobowei, the great-grandson of Mrs. Timiebi Maika Ekanpou which DNA is full of stories, as well this great storyteller mother of Ekanpou is my grand mother in-law whose burial ceremony is slated for 21st of January, 2023 at Oyangbene Community in Burutu LGA of Delta State.

Friends, Chiefs, Leaders, politicians, media Associates, and great business tycoons join me as the family of Asiayei Enaibo the Talking Drum performs his grand mother in-law’s burial rite as she Sails in the Dark like the story of Ekanpou Enewaridideke depicted in the portrait which Photograph I took years ago as a serving literary scholar.
