Delta youths appoint Dr Donald Peterson as patron, present to him merit award

The Coalition of Delta Indigenous Youth Leaders Forum, an apex and non-violence youth body which comprised all Delta State youths have appointed Hon. Dr Donald Peterson as patron.

The group also presented to him merit award for his immense contributions and achievements of service to humanity in both home and abroad.

The event was held at Agbor, the hometown of Hon Dr Donald Peterson, Special Adviser to Delta State Government on entrepreneurship, with members of the State Executive Council of the Coalition of Delta Indigenous Youth Leaders Forum where he was appointed Patron to the noble body and presented to, a Merit Award as the Leading Philanthropist in Delta State.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Organization, Comrade Gometi O Crested reads;
“We are out to rewrite the wrong to reclaim the lost glory of our dear State by engaging in activities designed to bring violence youths from the street into meaningful services through constructive engagement to redeem the bad image outsiders placed on the Youths of Delta State, and we won’t be wary until the set goals and objectives are successfully achieved.

“The decision of the State Executive Council and members of this great body to appoint Hon Dr Donald Peterson Patron and  award him the leading philanthropist in Delta State is in recognition and appreciation of his strategic roles in the effort to build a better society and contributions to the general society, especially the uninterrupted contributions towards the youths of Delta State”, he added.
