The federal government delegation and the representatives of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU will meet today Thursday May 13 to resolve gray areas of the prolonged strike action of federal varsities.
It was gathered that the federal government delegation contained, the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, alongside the Minister for Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, and others from ASUU would be meeting in Aso villa, Abuja today.
The meeting also invited all other registered Trade Unions in Nigerian Universities as part of stakeholders to deliberate the way out of the continuous ASUU strike.
However, the labour minister who earlier apologized to ASUU on Eid Fitr, assured Nigerian students of addressing the issues involving the strike, so they could return to school.
