Gunmen abduct NLC leader in Kaduna

In Kaduna State’s Kaura Local Government Area, gunmen have kidnapped a former Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President, Mr. Takai Shamang, 78, from his home in Biniki.

However, Shamang, a former National Union of Electricity and Gas Workers President (now National Union of Electricity Employees), was abducted at about 8:00 pm on Friday, according to his daughter, Mrs. Grace Abbin, who confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
