Huntsman kills 60-year-old man for alleged trespass in Delta

A suspected huntsman has killed sixty years old fellow hunter, Mr Emmanuel Akparuaro for allegedly trespassing on his hunting site in Orogun Community of Delta state.

The incident reportedly occurred on Monday 30th October, 2021 when Akporuaro was hacked to death by the suspected hunter.

A community source, narrated that the hunter had earlier warned the son of the old man that he would kill him if the victim refused to stay clear the bush where he sets traps to catch bush animals.

However, the police have arrested the suspect and being currently detained.
