JUST IN: IPF to hold Ijaw media conference 2024 in Dec 4

The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has announced its inaugural Ijaw Media Conference and Annual Dialogue, happening on December 4, 2024, in Bayelsa State. This exciting event, themed “Advancing the Quest for Economic Freedom in a Siege Nation,” aimed to unite leaders and stakeholders to explore innovative solutions for the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta’s economic growth.
Pioneer Ijaw media editor-in-chief, Ernest Ikoli, will be honored during the conference. Discussions will focus on environmental safety, indigenous security services, such as Tantita and evaluating the progress of the presidential Amnesty programme, including the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The event promised to foster economic discourse, empower indigenous media professionals, and provide training for journalists and media practitioners.
