IPOB attacks school, chases out WAEC students

Following alleged violation of sit-at-home order, Indigenous Peoples of Nigeria (IPOB) operatives have chased out students of West African Examination Council (WAEC), sitting for English Language paper in Comprehensive Secondary School Nkume Njaba in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State from examination hall on Monday.

It was learnt that the enforcers of the sit-at-home order stormed the school around 8:3am and chased out students, invigilators and staff of the school and burnt down all the motorcycles parked in the premises while they were about to write the English paper.

Narrating her experience, a student, who gave her name as Ngozi, said: “Unknown gunmen came into the hall to ask us to stop our exams and chased us out. They also burnt bikes.”
