The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Western Zone is set to elect a new chairman, and Olu-Derimon Omaghomi has emerged as the top choice for the position, according to a report.


According to sources, Olu-Derimon possesses the necessary skills, experience, and qualities required for the role. His track record as the immediate past secretary of the zone and his dedication to the Ijaw nation make him an ideal aspirant.


Olu-Derimon is described as a liberator of Edo Ijaws and

leader who learns from his mistakes and adapts to correction instantly. His experience and achievements far surpass those of his peers, making him the best man for the job.


However, leaders, stakeholders, and delegates are urged to give Olu-Derimon the mandate to lead the IYC Western Zone for the next three years, promising a new era of progress and development for the region.
