JUST IN: Evah embarks on children’s deworming program in Oporoza Nov 14

The president/coordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group (IMG), Comrade Joseph Evah,has launched a children’s deworming program in Oporoza, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, starting Thursday, November 14, 2024. This initiative aims to improve the health and well-being of children in the community.

The deworming program is a significant step towards addressing health challenges in the Niger Delta region.
It would be recalled that Evah through the National Ijaw Female Students’ Association has been working in the Niger Delta to promote economic development, peacebuilding, and health initiatives over the years.
This program is expected to have a positive impact on the community, particularly in reducing the prevalence of intestinal worms among children, which can lead to malnutrition, anemia, and other health issues. The initiative demonstrates the commitment of Evah and the NAIFS to improving the lives of people in the region.
