By Stephen Asaba-ase
A pressure group under the umbrella of the Niger Delta Progressive Youth Leadership Forum (ND-PYLF), has passed Vote of Confidence on its National President Comrade (Chief ) Adam Ogomugo Marbo, the Head of Peace Building, Stakeholders’ Engagement and Conflict Management in the Presidential Amnesty Office, Abuja, and his Boss, Chief (Dr.) Dennis Burutu Otuaro PhD, the Special Adviser to the President of Niger Delta Matters and Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
However, the vote of confidence was passed on a unanimous voice vote following a motion moved by Bayelsa State Chapter Chairman of the body and was seconded by the Imo State Chapter Chairman.
The Niger Delta group declared its total support for the administrator of the presidential Amnesty programme, Chief Dennis Otuaro and Chief Adam Marbo for making efforts to deepen the PAP and sustainable peace in the region. They further advised the people of the Niger Delta to sustain the existing peace, support Otuaro and enjoy the dividends of the Amnesty Programme.
Meantime, Marbo encouraged various State Chairmen and members of the group to continue to reach out to more Niger Delta Youth with the good news of the Dr Otuaro, stressing that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda can glaringly be seen in the Presidential Amnesty Programme with his gracious appointment of Otuaro.
He argued that the just concluded Stakeholders’ Engagement Conference held in Warri is a testament to the affirmative in this regard.
