Just In: Senate quashes Buhari’s electoral amendment bill

The Senate has declined president Muhammadu Buhari electoral act amendment bill on Wednesday.

The Bill which titled: “A Bill for an Act to amend the Electoral Act 2022 and for related matters, 2022,” was outrightly rejected by the Senate, a development that effectively stopped its second reading.

The Bill which scaled first reading on Tuesday despite a court order barring the Senate from acting on it was through out on Wednesday when the house conveyed.
