LG Poll: Ozobo meets elder statesman Biakpara, says his 100 days in office will be like 1 year in office

A forerunner of the Burutu Local Government Council chairmanship election and Niger Delta leading rights and environmental activist, Comrade Ozobo Austin has assured the Burutu people of delivering campaign promises, adding that his 100 days in office will be like 1 year in office.

The chairmanship aspirant asserted during a consultative visit to an elder statesman, Wing Commander PY Biakpara (rtd) on Tuesday.

Ozobo who is known for his leading roles in the Niger Delta struggle had promised that there would be a drastic turn-around of things in Burutu Local Government Area when he is elected.

He further appreciated the elder statesman, Biakpara for his leading leadership roles in Burutu and Delta politics, adding that he (Biakpara) is a silent achiever who had lived a life worthy of emulation.

While promising Burutu elders, women and youths fair and equitable treatment, Ozobo said Burutu youths would be provided with the enabling environment to discover their potential in life when he is elected.
