Motorists express relief as police nab notorious gunmen in Abraka/Eku road

Sigh of relief has been expressed at Abraka/ Eku road by some motorists as Nigerian Police reportely nabbed some notorious arm robbers at the road in the penultimate week.

It was learnt luck ran out of some of the hostage takers who were terrorising the Abraka road as the police swooped on them, leading to the arrest of a good number of them.

A source who expressed relief said the road was a dead spot, hardly a day will pass by when motorists would not robbed.

The source described the hoodlums as a mix breed, adding that some could be from the territory and others are foreigners.

It was gathered that the road has been safe for the few days as no attack had been recorded.

Residents and motorists had called on the police authorities to sustain constant patrol on the road until every fleeing gunman is apprehended.
