Chief (Comr) Ebis Moni, a respected leader in the Niger Delta, has publicly expressed confidence on Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD, Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), leadership and his outstanding efforts in promoting peace and development in the region.

Moni, a prominent traditional chief, the Sukereowei 1 of Operomor Kingdom in Burutu Local government area of Delta State had urged stakeholders to rally behind Otuaro, while commending his dedication to the people’s development and his exemplary leadership.

He also applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s wise decision in appointing Otuaro, citing his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the region.

However, Moni defended Otuaro against criticism, emphasising that it was premature to judge his performance. He also welcomed the endorsement of Otuaro by Professor Okaba, President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), describing it as a significant development.

He applauded Otuaro’s performance as exceptional and worthy of unanimous support.

Furthermore, the Meinbutu Federated Communities worldwide, a group of freedom fighters, expressed their confidence in Otuaro during his recent visit on July 23, 2024.

As Otuaro marks four months in office, stakeholders continue to express their satisfaction with his leadership and commitment to the region’s progress.
