Okowa’s aide, Ozobo condemns killing of military operations officer in Delta, wants culprits brought to book
Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state, Comrade Ozobo Austin has condemned outrightly the dastardly killing of military operations officer of 3battallion Effurun, Delta state by suspected gunmen in Enerhen road, Uwvie Local Government Area.
The statement which was signed and sent to the media by himself said there was no ground to justify the action of the killers of the gallant and patriotic military operations officer, adding that the criminal elements should be fished out and made to face the music of the law.
The Niger Delta rights activist said the Community where the incident occurred and well-meaning leaders and stakeholders of the state should assist the military agents and army with useful information to end the notorious reign of barbaric killing of security operatives and residents in the state.
The statement, however, sympathized with the family of the deceased officer and the Nigerian army over the irreparable loss, adding that the culprits would not go scout free.
Ozobo maintained that the proactive governor of the state, His Excellency Senator Ifeanyi Okowa was disturbed about the ugly incident, adding all hands are on deck to fish out the criminal elements within the shortest time.
