PAP: Edo Riverine Coalition Warns Detractors To Allow Otuaro Implement Reforms Unhindered
By Stephen Asaba-ase
A coalition of riverine communities in Edo State has issued a strong warning to individuals and groups attempting to destabilise the leadership of Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
The coalition, representing communities in Ovia South West, Ikpoba Oha, and Ovia North East local government areas, condemned the “campaigns of calumny” against Dr. Otuaro, describing them as “distractive moves” aimed at unsettling his leadership.
The group commended Otuaro’s credentials, citing his experience and achievements in public and private service, including his recent revamping of the PAP scholarship scheme, which earned him accolades from stakeholders.
The coalition warned detractors to desist from their actions, threatening to “name, shame, and drag them in the mud” if they failed to heed the warning. They reiterated their commitment to peace, justice, and harmonious coexistence, and expressed solidarity with progressive minds working for the betterment of the common man.
The statement was signed by Comrade Owei Ipiteikumoh (National President), Hon. Ezekiel Daniel (Spokesman), Sam Uroupa (Secretary), and Ikiyor Ayedi (Publicity Secretary) of the Coalition of Riverine Communities, Edo State.
