PAP: Nat’l Chairman 3rd Phase, Ogidiga Congratulates INC President Igbadiwei

The National Chairman of the Third Phase presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, General Godstime Ogidigba has congratulated the newly inaugurated chairman of the Ijaw National Congress, INC, High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei, with a call to use the office to strengthen unity across the Ijaw Nation.

The commendation came from Gen. Ogidigba Godstime, National Chairman of the Phase 3 Amnesty Programme, following the inaugural ceremony held in Warri, Delta State.

In a statement, Gen. Ogidigba urged Ijaw leaders to rally behind the new chairman and his executive council to advance the interests of the ethnic nationality. He also appealed to other contestants and aggrieved stakeholders from the election to set aside differences and support the new leadership for the sake of peace and unity.

“The Ijaw Nation is in high spirits and hopeful that the INC executive under High Chief Igbadiwei will drive more development to the region and create opportunities for our people,” he said.

Gen. Ogidigba stressed that cohesion among Ijaw leaders was critical at this time, and called for collective backing of the new administration to ensure stability and progress.

He concluded by extending congratulations to High Chief Igbadiwei on assuming office.
