PAP: Otuaro Meets Orodje of Okpe, Expresses Tinubu’s Commitment to Peace, Development In N’Delta

The administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP),Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD, on Tuesday met with the revered traditional ruler, HRM Felix Mujakperuo, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, as part of his ongoing stakeholder engagement efforts to foster peace and security in the Niger Delta region.
The PAP boss briefed the monarch on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to implementing reforms and developing the region, emphasising the crucial role traditional institutions play in building sustainable peace and security.
During the meeting, Otuaro shared the achievements of his administration in the past few months, highlighting the progress made in promoting peace and development in the Niger Delta.
The Orodje of Okpe, in turn, thanked Otuaro for recognizing the importance of traditional institutions and advised him to continue his innovative leadership to ensure the region’s development and peace.
Otuaro assured that President Tinubu is dedicated to maintaining peace and security in the Niger Delta, and is not taking the current stability for granted.
The PAP, administrator emphasised the vital role traditional institutions play in building sustainable peace and security in the region.
However, the visit demonstrated Otuaro’s efforts to engage stakeholders and promote peace in the Niger Delta, aligning with President Tinubu’s vision for the region’s development.
