Trigger-happy policeman kills a monarch’s daughter

A daughter of Eze Agwu Nwaukpa, a traditional ruler in Onicha local council of Ebonyi State was shot dead by trigger- happy police officer.

The lady, Elizabeth Agwu was shot dead in front of her father’s palace.

It was gathered that the policemen invaded the area, shooting intermittently while looking for some suspects.

“I am still surprised that in this era security agencies will shoot recklessly in a public place like this,” an eyewitness added.

She was reportely shot dead unlawfully without a cause.

Police spokesperson Loveth Odah assured the family of the deceased that the perpetrators would be arrested.
