The Management of Tantita Security Service Nigeria Limited, controlled by former Niger Delta Ex-agitator, Government Ekpemupolo , alias Tompolo has debunked the purported arrest and allegation of oil theft leveled against its men by the Nigerian Navy.

It was gathered that Tompolo was awarded the multi-billion naira contract by the federal government through his private security company to secure crude oil pipelines and to end oil theft in the country.

Following the development, the management of Tantita Security Service released a statement on Friday, 1st September, to refute the claim by the Nigerian Navy, tagging it as a tragicomedy of errors.

“So it would be seen that at the time of the arrest, the only crime that the Tantita operatives were alleged to have committed was trying to recover a dismantled outboard engine, so recovering outboard engines of oil theft is now a crime”, Part of Tantita Security Management statement reads.

However, the management of Tantita maintained that the statement by the Nigerian Navy was nothing but a smear campaign against Tantita.

The management stated that the arrest and parade of four Tantita staff by the Nigerian Navy as common criminals while on legitimate duty should be condemned by all right-thinking members of society.
