The Road to Reinforcement of Dr. Julius Pondi’s Flaws, By Enewaridideke Ekanpou

The day of Pentecost is not a prerogative of Christians. Rt. Hon. Dr. Julius Gbabojor Pondi has just had his day of political Pentecost. No one knew there would be a Pentecost for Dr. Pondi – not even Pondi’s accredited Campaign Organisation headed by Togo Oruebi, the indefatigable digital Director-general.

Rather historically, on 20 April 2026 Dr. Pondi went cruising with his Campaign Organisation on a cruise boat – purposely to unwind after the accumulated strains of politics and to rebuild another political ARK to salvage people from the waiting 2027 political flood. Before all the members of the Campaign Organisation lay an alluring assortment of dishes and drinks on tables inside the cruise boat; this was followed by blaring of philosophically soothing highlife Ijaw music. After a pleasant moment of cruising on the river, an order was gently echoed for the cruise boat to be brought to a leisurely pace while the engine was kept chugging. Above the blaring Ijaw songs the voice of Dr. Pondi rang loud and clear, communicating something to everybody on the cruise boat.To this loud and clear communication everybody was devotedly attuned without distraction.

Traditionally drawing on the principle of appreciation, Pondi thanked everybody for being responsive to his invitation which he saw as an opportunity to recognise the inputs of all towards his political successes in the past. Beyond his appreciative communication, he alerted all that 22 April 2026 would be his day of Pentecost in Burutu. By this alert all the true believers of Pondi were punctually expected to put up appearance on the appointed day of Pentecost. This intimation was followed shortly by continuation of the moment of merriment on the boat. This continued merriment was a prefiguration of the awaited day of political Pentecost in Burutu.

Pondi’s alerted day of Pentecost in Burutu came on 22 April 2026. Like conventional Christians expecting the descent of the Holy Spirit, all the eleven wards in Burutu Local Government Area converged in the headquarters, animated by suspense as to what was actually expected, though everybody’s thought centred on bountiful harvest of spiritually inspiring goodies expected from visionary politicians.

From far and wide the various clans in Burutu gathered in anticipation. For the true believers of Jesus Christ they hoped to see the descent of the Holy Spirit or its equivalent in the secular space. All hopes and expectations were dashed. Rather than bountifully harvest the descent of the Holy Spirit, it was an ironical harvest of flaws that had accumulated over the years from Pondi’s representation of Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The flaws have already grown into a giant rock beyond human correction, stifling the expected visitation of the Holy Spirit upon the gathered people. Murmurings of total disappointment dominated the hitherto expectant mammoth crowd.

Representational flaws are a product of uniqueness traceable to a nonpareil performance in any elective or appointive position. Departure from an easily recognised phenomenon or performance could be the emanation point of flaws in the eyes of impetuous observers notably comfortable with any form of representational cesspool viewed through the lens of stomach infrastructure. The flaws identified in the representational life of Dr. Pondi brought to the fore on the day of his political Pentecost are indeed the demanded materials to be drawn on by all the eleven wards as the solid foundation to gospel the marketability of Pondi’s fourth legislative journey to Abuja. It is inexplicably weird when representational flaws of a legislator dramatically become the magnetic pull for acceptability of his candidature in 2027.

Records are everywhere that the benighted world sought to crucify Jesus Christ because he towered above all in virtues and religious commitment as encapsulated in his teachings anchored on the salvation of mankind on earth. Annoyingly, to the credit of Pondi in his representational job, he committed 156 flaws in varying degrees categorised developmentally as 75 constituency projects, 16 bills sponsored, 12 motions raised, 8 petitions laid and 45 ongoing constituency projects in addition to numerous ‘mega empowerment’ programmes centred on presentation of tricycles, motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, solar lamps, scholarships and Jamb forms to beneficiaries. Beyond organising football competitions and presentation of cash gifts to beneficiaries of scholarships and empowerment schemes, Pondi’s most remarkable flaw was the legislatively influenced creation of Sologha Ekpemupolo Jamb Centre in Ogulagha to cater to the educational needs and aspirations of people in the rural areas of Burutu Council.

Dr. Pondi’s life as a legislator is clearly defined by remarkable flaws – flaws that carry the suggestiveness of continuity on the legislative path in clear language. The representational flaws of Pondi are evenly distributed in all the wards. In all the eleven wards in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State one can find development projects legislatively influenced by Dr. Pondi. That he has a interesting development stories to tell in every ward in Burutu is seen as a reinforcement of his representational flaws which immortalise his journey of representation in the House of Representatives in the fading years.

In Dr. Pondi one can see the uniqueness of flaws in a legislator who does not blush over his representational flaws. Pondi’s referentially flawed performance as a legislator tower above all his predecessors. Before now nobody thought a legislator could commit all these flaws and become a reference point in every discourse. For a legislator of Pondi’s stature strengthened daily by flaws , only a thinking society has the art to engage him in reciprocal terms and reward him deservedly for his flaws in the legislative business. This was why all the eleven wards spoke in one tongue rather than in different tongues since the expected Holy Spirit did not come upon them – though it came in substitution, only manifesting as representational flaws applauded by the people in unison.

On the anticipated day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit did not come. In the place of the expected Holy Spirit, it was Pondi’s representational flaws that invaded the gathering with an amazing audacity. This amazing audacity pointed to substitution of the Holy Spirit in a developmentally transfigured form.

With boldness and audacity Dr. Pondi presented to the eleven wards his 156 flaws benevolently committed for the developmental transfiguration of Burutu Federal Constituency. In the audacious language of Pondi, he should be given another legislative opportunity to represent Burutu Federal Constituency in 2027. For Pondi he should be given the opportunity to amplify and multiply his representational flaws because he has acquired the needed experience, exposure and maturity to perpetrate more flaws and open up new development routes for his constituency.

Responsively, all the eleven wards spoke one by one after a meticulous review of all the highlighted flaws credited to Pondi. Pondi’s flaws were viewed asthe bridge to construct another bridge across his solicited fourth bridge in the legislative business. The responsive verdict of the eleven wards revealed that Pondi’s 156 flaws had given him the licence to go back to the House of Representatives and continue his journey of representational flaws.

Speaking in different tongues would be chaotic in a political gathering because it would need the services of an interpreter for clarity and understanding. A political gathering does not have the patience to go through the complications of searching for an interpreter to bridge the communication gap created by people speaking in tongues. The essence of politics dies when eleven wards speak in different tongues upon the arrival of the Holy Spirit. It was a matter of jubilation that, on Pondi’s day of political Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was substituted by representational flaws – flaws that inspired the eleven wards to speak in only one tongue. For Burutu people – as clearly communicated by the eleven wards on 22 April 2026 on the day of political Pentecost – Rt. Hon. Dr. Julius Gbabojor Pondi is still their unshakable choice to represent Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2027.

Flaws in any environment are objectionable occurrences but in the context of Dr. Pondi, flaws are a special delicacy required for the developmental transfiguration of Burutu Federal Constituency because the people in Burutu Local Government Area are instinctively given to reinforcement of visible legislative successes driven by sustained representational flaws untouched by the miasma of underdevelopment.

Unmistakably established in the consciousness of the people remains the reality that flaws borne out of the brobdingnagian excesses of past office holders characteristically carry a meaningful sheen and reverberations beyond compare. Everywhere such flaws activate thunderclap and thunderbolt, bringing in their trails corresponding vibrations from both objects and humans. This is the fate of Dr. Pondi’s thunderous flaws that have just bred their matching vibrations from the eleven wards in favourable terms.

Notably, with Dr. Pondi who professionally bonds with waters anywhere in the world by virtue of his doctorate in Maritime Transport and Management as attested to by his recent boat cruise and his voyage to Burutu on 22 April 2026 for clear communication of his representational flaws seen as the most pragmatically dependable stepping stone to his solicited fourth journey to the House of Representatives, even without graphological reinforcement, always foregrounded are the flaws of a legislator whose performance have dwarfed and swept into oblivion the performances of others once on this legislative path. A genuine reformer or trail-blazer is always the butt of benighted people until he has danced full circle and disappears from the world stage for others to dare the path to produce results that comparatively bow to the performance bangs of the applauded one. However the critical sieve engaged for appraisal, Dr. Pondi’s blazingly thunderous flaws will eventually leave an immortal path for him after he has danced fully and disappeared gloriously from the legislative stage – most probably after his fourth journey to the House of Representatives.
