A Group, the Concern Sons and Daughters of Isoko kingdom for good Governance, CSDGG has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State for his remarkable performance in his first tenure, describing him as a transformative leader who has exceeded expectations.

In a statement signed by General Ajiri Wilson, Coordinator of the group and a former agitator leader from the Ofagbe community, Isoko North LGA, the organization expressed appreciation for the Governor’s efforts in turning Delta State into a hub of construction activities within a short period.

However, the group expressed concern over the apparent omission of Isoko communities in the #400 billion 2026 budget for projects in Delta State. They appealed to Governor Sheriff to consider the Isoko kingdom in the allocation of developmental projects, appointments, employments, and empowerment programs, citing their significant contribution to his victory in the 2023 election.

The statement read, “His Excellency, Remember that the Isoko kingdom worked tirelessly to mobilise supporters to vote massively for you in 2023 election, we the Isoko people are still ready to repeat same, on the grand that Isoko kingdom must be considered in the areas of developmental projects, appointments, Employments and Empowerment in your complimentary budget.”

The Isoko Group believes that the omission was not a deliberate act by the Governor to undermine the Isoko Ethnic Nationality and is awaiting his correction of the error. The group affirmed its commitment to peace, law, and order, and its desire for developmental progress in the state.
