As part of efforts to provide medical attention to vulnerable citizens in the country, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has expanded a free medical outreach to Ugboha, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State.

The free medical outreach was organized by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as part of an initiative promoting support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Addressing beneficiaries, Mr Innocent Ozubu said the initiative was aimed at reminding residents that their health matters and that communities deserve attention.

He emphasised that the decision to bring the outreach to Ugboha was influenced by his connection to the community alongside his wife, Mrs Oghenetega Innocent.

Mrs Innocent, who said she is married to a son of the community, described the outreach as an opportunity to extend the initiative to the community.

According to her, the organisers were pleased to bring the programme to Ugboha and provide residents with access to medical services.

The event also featured remarks by Hon. Tega Patrick Amiegbebhor, the Esan South-East Local Government chairman, who expressed support for the initiative and linked it to the 2027 general elections.

He said the outreach would help residents recognise what he described as the work of President Tinubu, while commending Tompolo for his involvement in the movement.

Mr Ozubu also described the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as a grassroots political movement supporting President Tinubu. He identified Tompolo as the movement’s sponsor and Chief Dr Kestin Pondi as one of those spreading its message.

A beneficiary of the outreach expressed satisfaction with the treatment received from the doctors and nurses, saying participants were treated with care.

The beneficiary added that the organisers had provided not only medication but also food for attendees.

Although the organisers did not give a confirmed figure for the number of beneficiaries, they described attendance as substantial.

The outreach combined the provision of medical services with political messaging ahead of the 2027 general elections, reflecting the organisers’ stated commitment to taking their message to communities under the theme that every door matters.
