Suspected pirate gang abducts two in Bayelsa

Suspected pirate gang terrorising the Letugbene, Bilabiri and Ogbotubo communities axis in Ekeremor local government area of Bayelsa State has allegedly kidnapped two persons from a local transport boat on Friday.

According to a community source who pleaded on condition of anonymity said the abductors are demanding for N20m from the families of the victims.

However, the Communities in the area had called on the security operatives in the area to swing into action and get the victims freed and ensured that the culprits are brought to book without further delay.

However, attempt to reach the military checkpoint in the area for comment proved abortive.
