Breaking: Security men cordon off Lekki Tollgate over #EndSARS memorial protest

Following the #EndSARS memorial protest slated to take place tomorrow 19th Oct, 2021,dreaded policemen, soldiers and others have condoned off the Lekki tollgate to prevent the first anniversary of #EndSARS nationwide protests.

It was gathered that the Lagos police authorities and State Government had earlier warned against another phase of #endSARS protests.

But the angry groups have vowed not to back down despite the repeated warnings.

Source said, the organisers of the memorial protest have been mobilising on social media platforms.

They vowed to storm the Lekki Tollgate in a car procession.

Congress learnt the tollgate has been shut since October 20, after the EndSARS incident.

An eyewitness stated that there was heavy presence of armed security operatives taking over some parts of Lekki and other areas of the State.
