Burutu Constituency Re-run: Asupa pays thank-you visit to Oboro, Edegbene, Enekorogha communities

Immediate past member representing Burutu North constituency and the Assembly candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Burutu north has visited Oboro, Edegbene and Enekorogha communities to appreciate the electorates for their massive support for him in the recent assembly election in Delta state.

He was flanked by prominent leaders of the Burutu Local Government Council.
Asupa said he invited them to celebrate the new year with them and the same time thank them of their massive support for him over the years.

Recall, the appeal court sitting in Lagos had held that there should be a rerun in four political units between the PDP candidate, Asupa Foreta and the APC candidates Alapala Ebitonmo having not satisfied by the results of the affected political units.

The units involve, three are in lseimbiri ward 4 and one in Ayakoromo ward 7, which the INEC had slated its re-rurn in February 3, 2024.

Congress gathered that the visit was part of efforts to reach out to the electorate ahead of February 3 re-run election which would be held in the affected political units in Burutu Local government area.
