A group which styled itself as G4 in conjunction with the Ayakoromo community in.Burutu Local Government Area has honoured a former lawmaker Hon. Asupa Forteta with a Development Ambassador Award whose event coincided with the popular Olorogun International Festival celebrations.

While presenting the award, the G4 said the gesture was to appreciate the developmental stride of the immediate past Delta State House of Assembly member to the community.

Meanwhile, some of the infrastructural projects initiated by the lawmaker during his four years in office in the Ayakoromo ward included the renovation of the Ayakoromo Town Hall, renovation of Omotimipere Primary School, Akparemogbene and renovation of Serikoromo Primary School, Oyagbene.

The community and G4 emphasised that Asupa had influenced much political appointment for some sons and daughters of the community in both past and present administrations in the state, adding that the award is well-deserved.

While responding, the lawmaker Forteta thanked the community and G4 for finding him worthy of such an enviable award, noting that he was encouraged to do more when the opportunity arises.
