Dr Angozi Commends Oborevwori for Historic Appointment of Two Commissioners in Burutu

By Peters Monday, Abuja
Immediate past Delta State governorship aspirant and ex-Commissioner of Agriculture, Dr Braduce Angozi (PhD) has showered heartfelt thanks to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his historical appointment of two commissioners in Burutu Local Government Area (LGA).
However, this milestone marks a significant achievement in the political landscape of Burutu LGA, fulfilling a long-held desire of the Burutu people.
Angozi, a former chairman of Burutu LGA, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the appointment of two commissioners is a well-deserved recognition of the Burutu people’s contributions in the current administration. He emphasised that Burutu LGA had consistently produced two state assembly members, making the appointment of two commissioners a logical progression.
Braduce applauded Governor Oborevwori for shattering the long-standing jinx of unmet expectations in Burutu LGA. He expressed optimism that this laudable achievement will endure, urging future governments in the state to maintain this positive gesture.
This development is seen as a significant step towards recognising the diversity and representation of Burutu LGA, fostering a sense of inclusivity and equity in the political landscape of Delta State.
