DTHA 2023: Asupa declares second term ambition, meets stakeholders, delegates

The member representing Burutu North Constituency in Delta State House Of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Forteta has officially declared his second term ambition on Monday.

Congress gathered that critical stakeholders and delegates of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, were in attendance during the declaration at Peemos Hotel, Warri Delta state.

Asupa who announced his interest shortly after the commencement of the event, said when elected for the second time he would not disappoint the people of Burutu North.

He added, “A vote for me is a vote for prosperity, I always maintain relationship, if you see Burutu local Government today and even the state, you will see my people all over. I really want to leave a legacy that will stand the test of time even when I must have left the office.

“I promise you that you will never regret ever voting for me. I am a practical person, I will never deceive you. A new and better Burutu is coming, Burutu North will no doubt take its desired place in the next political dispensation.

“I may have performed well with this administration but by his grace, what I will do in the next administration will shock all of you, it is going to be great for our own good.”

Among dignitaries at the event were Chief Dr. Julius Takeme, Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta South Senatorial District, Hon. Ebike Oromoni, PDP Chairman, Burutu Local Government Area, Sir Ignatius Ziakegha, Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Niger Delta Affairs (Braced Commission Amnesty), Chief (Hon) Combolous Ikisah, Vice Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Spencer Takeme, Leader of Burutu Local Government Legislative House, Barr. Isa Clark, Mr. Richard Tuedon.
