Hoodlums abduct members of Living Faith Church

Pandemonium in Living Faith Church Worldwide as gunmen stormed the Church and abducted three members at Osara community, along Lokoja-Okene road in Adavi Local Government Council of Kogi State.

Congress learnt that the gunmen stormed the church premises when some of its members were in choir practice during the weekend and abducted at least three members.

Source who speaks in confidence said the hoodlums shot sporadically to scare residents before escaping with the victims to unknown destination.

The Chairman of Adavi Local Government Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Monday evening through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu.

Jamiu said the chairman had visited the scene in company of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Osara Division since the incident occured.

According to him, the council was working with security agents in the area to ensure that the victims are rescued unhurt.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Williams Ovye Aya, could not be reached at press time.
