LG POLL: Burutu Ward 7 councilorship candidate, Timi Angodideke receives party flag

Ahead of the July 13, 2024 Delta State local government elections, the celebrity councilorship candidate for Ward 7, ANGODIDEKE TIMIEBI stormed Burutu, the headquarters of Burutu Local Government Area, to receive the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) campaign flag on Friday.

He was accompanied by a crowd of supporters during the campaign flag-off, where he was presented with a flag, affirming his primary election victory at the ward and LGA levels.

The event, which took place on Friday 28, 2024 saw Timi Yankee and other PDP stalwarts rallying support for the party’s chairmanship candidates in the upcoming polls. Yankee, known for his charisma and grassroots appeal, energized the supporters with his speech, promising to deliver democratic dividends to the people of Ward 7 and Burutu LGA.

The campaign flag-off marks the beginning of an intense campaign season in Delta State, with the PDP aiming to maintain its stronghold on the state’s political landscape. Timi Yankee’s popularity and influence are expected to play a significant role in mobilizing support for the PDP in the upcoming elections.
