Majemite receives merit award, decorates as patron of Delta Youths Leadership Forum

The Coalition of Delta Indigenous Youths Leaders Forum, an apex youth body has presented a Merit Award to Sir Eric Najuke Majemite, a Leading Philanthropist in Uvwie Kingdom of Delta State during his official appointment/decoration as Patron to the Organization.



This was contained in a statement signed by the group’s President, Comrade Crested Gometi which a copy was sent to Congress correspondent on Thursday.

It was a remarkable event where various youth leaders across the three senatorial districts who are members of the State Executive Council (SEC) converged to present him the humanitarian award.

The statement reads, “it was a unanimous decision of the State Executive Council and members of the noble body to appoint Eric Najuke Majemite as a Patron to the youths of Delta State in recognition of his strategic role in the effort to build a better society and contributions to the general society, especially the youths of Delta State.

He further said, the appointment is important to Delta Youths because we recognised his role in achieving the new Delta State of our dream where peace and harmony resigns.

“The Award also was necessary and critically considered his various humanitarian services and contributions to the general society.

“We are non-violence Youth organization determined and strategically placed to liaise with relevant stakeholders in and aside Delta State to curb the alarming rate of crime and criminality among the youths whereby securing a conducive and enabling environment for local and international investors to operate smoothly in Delta State.

“We are determined to mobilize Delta Youths towards creating enabling environment for the achievement of the new Delta State of our dream as captured in the MORE Agenda of our dear Governor, RT. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
