N’Delta Group Congratulates Dr Otuaro As PAP Substantive Administrator

Renowned Niger Delta group under the auspices of the Niger Delta Transparency Network, NDTN, has congratulated Chief Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro, PhD on his appointment as the Substantive Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP.

 

The group in a statement by its president Comrade Bekenawei Emury said the appointment of Dr Otuaro is well deserved, describing it as a square peg in a round hole.

 

The group averred that they are ready to pattern with the amnesty administrator in areas where its services may be needed to create the enabling environment for the programme to achieve its predetermined golds.

 

The NDTN urged critical stakeholders, leaders, beneficiaries of PAP and youths of Niger Delta to throw their weight behind the new substantive administrator to enabled him repositioned the amnesty programme for greater results.

 

The statement reads, “we strongly believe you will make Niger Delta proud. Your appointment is a fulfilment of our constant demand to appoint PAP administrator from Delta Ijaw.

 

“We have the conviction that you will give a face lift to the programme being a factor in the Niger Delta struggle that gave birth to the amnesty programme.

 

“Also note that the there are much expectations on you following the current challenges facing the programme. But we know that you will not give a sleep until you turn the system to benefit your people.

 

It is our humble advice that you run bottom-top approach policy, welcoming new ideas, initiatives and engaging strategic stakeholders, youth leaders, groups and other leaders in the struggle. This is will give you the enabling environment to implement people oriented policies and programmes as an administrator.

 

“It is our prayer that may God gives you the enabling environment, resources, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to succeed in your new office”.
