Oborevwori Lauds Otuaro at 56

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, who clocks 56 years on April 16.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, on Tuesday in Asaba, the governor laud Otuaro for his unwavering commitment to the ‘Smart Agenda’ and ‘Stronger Delta’ vision of the immediate past administration.

Governor Oborevwori paid glowing tribute to Otuaro for his outstanding contributions to ensuring peace in the Niger Delta through his Chairmanship of the Peace Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facility Vandalism which culminated in the improved oil productivity in the country.

However, he stated further that ” I acknowledged the roles you played that brought this ever enduring peace in the Niger Delta, hence you were honoured with the Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Award 2019 by Daily Independent Newspapers Limited.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Delta State, I congratulate you, my dear brother and former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Esq. on your 56th birth anniversary.

“Your Excellency, as a former Deputy Governor, and resolute in the party, you have significantly inscript your name in the marble of development sustainability in the Niger Delta

“Meantime, your firm partnership with other Deltans for our Commonwealth has also spurred us to gallantly advance Delta to the El Dorado of our dreams as we work assiduously to ensure peace and security in our dear state.

“I wish that God will continue to grace your life with good health and many more years of devotion to the Almighty and humanity as you rightfully commemorate this year’s anniversary of your birth.”
