Ozobo campaign organisation sympathises with Ogbe-Ijoh Market Fire victims

Following the unfortunate fire breakout in Ogbe-Ijoh Market on Tuesday night, the Ozobo Burutu LGA Chairmanship Campaign Organisation has sympathised with victims of the market fire over the destruction of property and shops worth millions of naira.

The chairman hopeful lamented over the unabated fire incidents in the market over the years, stating that urgent steps should be taken by the Delta State government and other relevant authorities to curb the reoccurring fire incidents in the market.

This was according to a statement signed by the spokesman of the campaign organisation on Wednesday.

Ozobo said the destruction of the property and shops was unfortunate and heartbreaking, adding that the cause of the continued fire breakouts in the market should be properly investigated.

He admonished the market fire victims to find solace in God over the alarm destruction of market goods and shops.

Ozobo urged the governor of Delta State, excellency Sheriff Oborewori to come to the aid of the traders of the market who have suffered this monumental loss.
