PAP: Moni Throws Weight Behind Otuaro, Says He Has Come To Reposition Amnesty Programme

A Niger Delta freedom fighter, Chief Ebis Moni, the Sukereowei 1 of Operemor Kingdom has Commended the landmark achievements of the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, in his few days in office, adding that Otuaro has come to change the narrative of the amnesty programme.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued by himself which a copy of it was sent to Congress Newspaper on Thursday.
According to him, Dr Otuaro is a product of the Niger Delta Emancipation and Intellectual Struggle, adding that stakeholders of the region should collaborate with him to reposition the presidential amnesty programme.
The statement reads, “Otuaro knows those who truly lost their lives for the Niger Delta cause and those who deformed because of it. That is why those of us who are in the front burner in the struggle are always overwhelmed with joy of his emergence.
“I’m very excited on seeing him as the controller of the presidential amnesty program this time around.
‘We are convinced that Otuaro will fulfil the objectives of the establishment of the amnesty programme by the late president Yaradua.
“The appointment of Dr Otuaro shows that Mr president means well for Ijaw and Niger Delta region.
The traditional chief, Moni said he was really grateful to Mr president by putting a round peg in a round hole in the appointment of Otuaro.
Moni also urged Dr Otuaro to do the needful by reaching out to the family members of those who lost their lives in the struggle as well to bring succor to them.
“Mr president never makes mistake in the appointment of Otuaro because he knows who will bring the needed peace in the Niger Delta during his administration”, he stressed.
