PAP: Olu-Derimon Applauds Otuaro Over Marbo, Kenerekedi’s Appointment

The Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC) Western zone Chairmanship Aspirant, Comrade Olu-Derimon Omaghomi has applauded the recent appointment made by Dr Chief Dennis Otuaro, the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program which he believed the Gbaramatu aborigine will deliver on his mandate, though it’s early to make hasty conclusion, but it’s also imperative to applaud him for taking rational decisions that signifies his readiness and adequate preparedness for the Job, which needs the support of all Niger Deltans, particularly the Ijaw nation.

According to a press statement issued and signed by Comrade Olu-Derimon IYC Chairmanship Aspirant Western Zone on 9th May 2024, said: “it’s worthy of note that his latest appointment is from the IYC family in persons of Comr .Marbo Adams and Comr Napoleon Kenerekedi appointments, show certainty that, there’s hope for IYC as her breeds are at the helm of affairs to shape the narratives for the common good of the Niger Delta. Also, I’m pleased and impressed on his latest tour around institutions in the country where PAP delegates/beneficiaries are pursuing their academic degrees.

“However, l implore the PAP administrator to also do more, the ongoing visit will be extended to the training centres in Bomadi (Delta State) and Gelegele in Edo state for proper reformation .

“Meantime, As a chairmanship aspirant, I remain resolute in the IYC western zone, myself and my team will be a formidable force for partnership and support him to achieve the aims and objectives of the program and seek the indulgence of the IYC in collective development, infrastructure, human capacity building among others in the Ijaw nation.

“we won’t hesitate to draw his attention to areas where there are challenges for peace and harmony to reign in the Niger Delta. It is my Ernest prayer that he succeeds in every endeavor and brings forth new development and initiatives as the substantial Administrator to the program, he added.
