The leaders and stakeholders of Phase 3 of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) have accused Alale Tonye Bobo led Executive Council of Corruption, Embezzlement and Diversion of money meant for leaders of Phase 3, and other benefits before the expiration of his tenure on the 31/5/2023.

The ex-agitators insisted that Tonye Bobo tenure of office had expired, and that he should stop parading as national leader of the forum.

The phase 3 leadership had informed the Amnesty office to take note of the Congress moves to elect a New National Exco on Saturday 16th September 2023 in Benin City, Edo State.

This was contained in a statement signed by Gen. Markson Isere, Rivers, Gen. Wilberforce Momos
Bayelsa, Gen. Clement Ofowei, Delta, Gen. Godwin Governor, Ondo, and Gen. Awo Gogo,
Edo State on Wednesday.

The statement reads in part, “We have asked Tonye Bobo severally to call a general meeting to address some allegations levelled against him, he blatantly refused to do that, rather, busy parading himself as National leader.

“Furthermore, the Amnesty office should take note of the congress to elect New National Exco for phase 3 of the amnesty programme on Saturday 16th September 2023 in Benin City, Edo State.

“However, we use this medium to inform the Amnesty office and the general public to disregard any news of endorsement by some mischief makers, that Alale Tonye Bobo to continue to function as chairman of Phase 3, without holding congress,” the statement reads.
