PAP: Tinubu appoints Otuaro as administrator

Following the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past Interim Administrator, Barry Ndiomu, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Chief (Dr). Dennis Burutu Otuaro as the Substantive Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).

Congress learnt that Dr. Otuaro possessed a PhD in Comparative Politics & Development Studies; an MSc in Public Administration, and a BSc in Education.

It was reported that he had previously served as a top-level executive of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) with a surfeit of experience across multiple sectors, including infrastructure development, security, environmental remediation and as well as oil and gas.

This was contained in a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity on March 14, 2023.

However, the President expressed confidence that the new Administrator would bring his requisite experience and know-how to revamp the Amnesty Programme and advance the realisation of its founding purpose and vision.
