Warri Reps 2027: Mulade Visits Oroseun Of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, seeks Support, Promises Transformation

The National Democratic Party (NDP) candidate for Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Mulade Sheriff, PhD, has met with His Royal Majesty, the Oroseun of Okere-Urhobo Warri Kingdom as part of his ongoing consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mulade, who is the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, added that the meeting was to seek royal blessings and guidance. He emphasised, “I cannot embark on this journey without first consulting our highly revered traditional institution, which remains the custodian of our culture and values.”

According to him, his ambition was driven by a desire to give Warri a sound representation. “My mission is to give Warri Federal Constituency a voice that will attract development, promote peace and ensure inclusive governance for all ethnic nationalities in Warri,”.

While speaking on the visit, His Royal Majesty, the Oroseun of Okere-Urhobo Warri Kingdom, prayed for him and urged him to pursue politics of peace and development, adding that “leadership should be about service to the people and not self.”
