Why Govt. Reduces Work Days To Three a Week

Following the ongoing fuel subsidy and hike in transportation, the government of Kwara state has introduced temporary measures to manage the present situation.

According to a statement by the state Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe, the state governor, Abudlrahman Abdulrazak had ordered the reduction of work days in the week.

The new development is aimed to reduce the hardships caused by the removal of fuel subsidy by the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The development is to provide relief to the workers who have been grappling with the hike in transportation and to reduce the financial burden on employees.

The head of service maintained that the new arrangement would enable a smooth transition to the new plan and ensure strict compliance with the new directive.

The reduction of work days by the government of Kwara state is seen as a proactive steps to address immediate financial challenges.
