PHASE 3 NAT’L CHAIRMAN VISITS PAP TECHNICAL ADVISOR CHIEF EDGAR BIU, LAUDS OTUARO

The National Chairman of Phase 3 Amnesty, Gen Godstime Ogidigba,has paid a New Year visit to the Technical Adviser to the Amnesty Office Chief, Edgar Biu, in Patani, Delta State.
During the visit, Gen Ogidigba commended Chief Dennis Otuaro for reviving overseas scholarship training, leadership training, vocational training, and women empowerment programs, which had been abandoned by previous administrations for almost a decade.
According to Gen Ogidigba, Chief Otuaro’s administration has increased the number of students in Nigerian universities from 200 to over 8,000 in less than two years and has also provided laptops for students.
Gen Ogidigba expressed appreciation to National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for increasing the budget of the Amnesty Program, which has enabled the Amnesty Office to channel over 65% of the budget towards education.
“This has shown President Tinubu’s true love for the Niger Delta region,” Gen Ogidigba said.
He urged Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders to rally support for Chief Dennis Otuaro’s administration to ensure peace is sustained in the region.
The visit was seen as a show of solidarity and support for the Amnesty Office’s efforts to promote peace and development in the Niger Delta region.
