JUST IN: Daniel Ezekiel Picks ADC Form for Warri Federal Constituency, Promises Practical Representation
By Monday Peters, Abuja
A leading Niger Delta Rights Activist Hon. (Comrade) Daniel Ezekiel has officially entered the race for the Warri Federal Constituency seat after picking, filling, and submitting the African Democratic Congress, ADC, nomination form at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The submission marks Ezekiel’s formal declaration of intent to contest under the ADC platform in the 2027 general elections. Party officials at the secretariat confirmed that the process was completed without incident.
In a brief statement following the submission, Ezekiel said his decision was driven by the need for “practical representation that addresses the day-to-day concerns of the people of Warri Federal Constituency.” He added that he would be engaging constituents across Warri South, Warri North, and Warri South-West LGAs in the coming weeks to outline his policy priorities.
Warri Federal Constituency, one of Delta State’s key political battlegrounds, is currently represented in the House of Representatives by the All Progressives Congress, APC. The ADC has been working to expand its footprint in the Niger Delta ahead of 2027.
Ezekiel’s entry sets up what is expected to be a competitive contest for the party’s ticket, with other aspirants also anticipated to declare in the coming months.
However, the ADC is yet to announce its primary election timetable for the constituency.
