Ozobo calls for stronger unity among Burutu leaders

Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state on political matters, Comrade Ozobo Austin has urged political leaders in Burutu Local Government Area to shun political acrimony, hegemony, aristocratic and plutocratic leadership styles and moved in one accord to pursue the common developmental gold of Burutu people.

The young political leader, said the development of Burutu Local Government Area is retarded as regards the prevailing disunity and unnecessary power tussles among political leaders in the area.

This was stated during a chart with him by our correspondent on Friday.

The governor’s aide, asserted that there was a serious need for Burutu political leaders to meet from time to time to discuss and tackle current challenges bedeviling Burutu LGA.

Ozobo, admonished political leaders in Burutu to always see their current positions as temporal privileges, and stop using their current positions to cause acrimony and building unnecessary hegemonies which were inimical to the collective yarning of the people.

The activist cum politician posited that the very day Burutu leaders would shun division and work together, Burutu would come out from her numerous challenges and current underdevelopment down sizing the area.
