By Peters Monday, Abuja
In a show of solidarity, leaders of five camps in the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme have unanimously expressed their unwavering support for Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD, the Programme’s administrator.
In a joint statement, the leaders comprising General John Tommy (Gorilla Camp), General Victor Mike (Kemekokogha Camp), General Ayakeme Ebikeseye (Elephant Camp), General Blessing Oroubiye (Brabi Camp) and General Gallant Awe (Osowei Camp) from Delta State, have also warned detrators to stop mischief and blackmails against Dr Otuaro, stressing that his performance in the few times in office had supassed the works of the previous administrators.
However, the camp leaders commended Otuaro’s exemplary leadership and dedication to the programme’s success, while condemning recent baseless attacks on him as unnecessary and destructive.
They expressed their commitment to Otuaro’s vision of bringing peace and development to the Niger Delta region, urging stakeholders to work collaboratively towards achieving the programme’s objectives.
