Motorcyclist arraigned over alleged N100,000 theft in Ondo

A 30-year-old business motorcyclist, Tayo Olabode, on Friday, showed up before an Okitipupa Chief Magistrate Court in Ondo State for purportedly stealing N100,000.
The litigant, whose address was not given, is confronting a one-count charge verging on Stealing.
The Police Prosecutor, ASP Zedekiah Orogbemi, let the court know that the litigant on July 19, around 11: 30 a.m. at First Bank in Okitipupa, Okitipupa Authoritative Region, seriously the offense.
Orogbemi said that the litigant utilized the Main Bank ATM having a place with one Stella Akorede to pull out N100,000 from her ledger without her assent.
He added that the offence was in opposition to and culpable under Segment 390 (9), Criminal Code, Cap.37, Vol. 1, Laws of Ondo State, 2006.
In the interim, the defendant argued not blameworthy to the charge brought against him.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Cletus Ojuola, without a doubt the litigant bail in the amount of N100,000 and two guarantees in like total.
He added that the guarantees who should dwell inside the court purview should likewise show and present proof of two years of duty instalment paid to the state government.
Ojuola dismissed the case until October 18 for additional consultation.
