The ancient Ofonibenghan community, popularly understood as Okirika was agog with who is who in Delta politics as Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba, the commissioner of Oil and Gas in Delta State marked his birth anniversary on Saturday.
Congress correspondents were on the ground at the auspicious birth anniversary celebration which was described as the first of its kind in recent times.
Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba fondly called Ojuko1 of the universe hailed from Okirika community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
He was loved barely by every human regardless of class and religion beyond the shores of Nigeria.
Ojuko1 has been one of the finest politicians in Delta State. He has held several positions in the state. He was the former PDP chairman of Delta South, the Current commissioner of Oil and Gas and also headed the media committee of Delta State PDP campaign council among others.
The event was jam-packed, guests were thrilled and entertained by a live music band. There was a surplus of drinks and food. Local women with beautiful attires sway to the right and to the left intermittently following the flow of the highlife beats and melody.
Equally, cultural groups brought to the fore the rich-Ijaw culture and traditional dancing steps and the dancers could be seen twisting their waists like a spice in joloof.
Among some dignitaries was the traditional ruler of Bluebirdiri kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Pere Johnbull Polokowei, Apiarogun, Ongolo 1, Burutu LGA, former Delta State House of Assembly member representing Burutu North, Daniel Yingi, Hon. Godwin Edumogiren, Special Adviser to Delta State governor, Hon. Paul Kurugbe, SUBEB second member, Hon. Mrs Georgina Evah, Comrade Ozobo Austin, SA to the governor, former and present councillors, community leaders, traditional chiefs and other appointees too numerous to mention.
