3 Points Checklist on How to Start a Profitable Online Blog.

There are about a billion searches on Google Browsers daily so if you’re still wondering why there are so many blogs out there, it is simple, people want to know!

Also there are millions of blogs because everyone is competing to get their share of the digital common wealth either via Google Adsense, premium subscription, digital and physical products sales, and the list goes on.

I’m going to share 3 steps every aspiring blogger should pay attention to. Don’t think you know what I’m about to say. Lol.

There are a bunch of technical stuffs and SEO jargons in blogging but it’s better to get acquainted with all those other stuffs while on the job and the reason is simple, if you want to keep waiting until you learn a lot of stuffs to become a super blogger you may likely never start or at least in time.

These 3 check points are underrated but they’re the real deal. Let’s dive in right away.

1. Knowledge & Readiness to Learn: Why should a person spend their time on your blog reading your content for several minutes? It’s only logical for that to happen when your content is good and that comes from proper understanding of the subject matter.

You don’t want to venture into a niche you’re not knowledgeable about and moreso you don’t have a passion to learn about it.

For instance, If I take up a blog on animal habits, guess what? It is going to be blatant failed project because I don’t have a cent worth of know how about pets or wild life. But if that’s something that intrigues me then I did be able to do a lot of research so I could produce fantastic content around it.

Yeah, when it comes to blogging it is a question of do you understand deeply what you’re talking about? People hardly check what’s the name on the byline, they go right into the content, and that should be an encouragement to a starter.

If you can make intensive research your next door neighbor, the odds certainly will be favorable to you in terms of the quality of content you’ll be offering your audience.

2. Be Adaptable like a Smartphone Savvy: This goes especially to all the folks out there who are intimated by not having a 8gb ram computer and coding knowledge. By the way, what on earth has coding to do with blogging? You can literally run a blog effectively with a good smartphone.

A computer certainly gives you a better view of your blog’s interface but if you’re a complete beginner procrastinating to start because you don’t have a computer, hey man you’re wasting precious time.
Do you remember the days of Nokia 3310 and the open and close phones; everyone thought that was it and then we got screen touch, soft touch and now smartphones.

What have you learnt from adapting to new phones and how does it relate to blogging.
There will always be new plugins and latest shinning objects but adapt at your own pace only as fast as you can comprehend stuffs that will pull better strings for your blog.

There is no point copying a content marketing strategy without understanding how it works.

3. Im going to make the last point as only a phrase, “Be consistent”.

Have a plan or objective and make a content calendar if you can, actually you should do it.

What’s you aim at blogging? Is to increase your followership online, get an extra income stream or simple sharpen your knowledge about a field of knowledge? Regardless of your goals, you will need to steadily dish out good content.
