Following the return of normalcy in the Inikorogha community in Ovia West Local Government Area of Edo state, an indigene of the community, simply identified as Mr Migwe Paul has affirmed at press time that the community had collapsed administratively for a while.

Paul, who spoke to newsmen during an interview section in the community said the residents had been long yearning for a change, an organized system in the community following the repression and reign of terror in the community.

He emphasized that the residents were happy now that the government of Edo state is coming to end impunity and restored failed and collapsed structures in the community.

While responding to questions, he explained that the Inikorogha community contributes meaningfully to the Edo state government coffers in terms of farm products, logs and wildlife game reserves, maintaining that Governor Godwin Obaseki should give proper attention to the community in terms of development, political appointment, youth employment and empowerment.

The community leader also call on the Edo state government to expedite commitment to complete the Udo/Inikorogha/Funama road for easy access to the community, adding that the road, when completed, would boost economic activities and reduce crime in the area.
